O-glycosylated flavonoids are an important group of flavonoids. The common o-glycosylated flavonoids mainly include quercetin 3-O-β-D-glucuronide and quercetin 7-O-β-D-glucopyranoside. Quercetin 3-O-β-D-glucuronide can be derived from dried whole grasses of hedyotis diffusa willd, flowers of gossypiumherbaceum L, or the leaf of apocynum lanci-folium rus, which can also be prepared by chemical synthesis. Quercetin 3-O-β-D-glucuronide is soluble in DMSO, alkaline water, insoluble in fat-soluble organic solvents.
